Power station – upgrade works

This project involved the planned shutdown of a thermal power station to facilitate essential maintenance and upgrade works aimed at improving efficiency, reliability, and environmental performance. Given the critical nature of the facility, the project presented significant challenges, particularly in coordinating the procurement and delivery of specialist equipment with long lead times, and sequencing the works within tight shutdown windows to minimize disruption and environmental impact.

The highly skilled Strata energy sector team brings a long-standing track record of supporting critical infrastructure projects that enhance energy efficiency and sustainability. With extensive expertise in complex shutdowns and upgrades, we apply structured planning, technical rigour, and clarity to every project, helping operators improve performance, reduce risks, and contribute to a more sustainable energy future.
