Skanska has signed an important contract with ESS (European Spallation Source), to build the third stage of the pan-European state-of-the-art research facility in Lund, Sweden. The third stage construction will consist of a target building, experimental halls, laboratories, a number of adjoining buildings and installations in several buildings.
Construction work Skanska on ESS Lund is expected to be completed during 2020. When the facility is fully commissioned and operational, the ESS neuron source will enable scientists from all over the world to study emerging research on the environment, medicines, food and materials
