Strata participates in Trade Mission to Sweden
September 26, 2025

Strata was delighted to actively contribute to the recent Sweden–Ireland Trade Mission, led by Enterprise Ireland. The mission marked an important milestone in trade relations between the two countries, with Irish exports to Sweden surpassing €1 billion for the first time.
Representing Strata, Enda Grimes participated in two significant forums during the mission:
From Coast to Grid seminar: where he joined a panel showcasing Irish innovation in renewables, grid solutions, and sustainable infrastructure.
High-tech construction roundtable: where he contributed to discussions on opportunities and challenges in scaling Irish businesses across the Nordic region.
The wider Strata team of Enda Grimes, Håkan Olovsson (Strata Sweden Director), and Melissa Sheridan (Operations Director) also attended a special evening dinner at the stunning Eric Ericsonhallen venue. The occasion was addressed by Minister of State for Small Business, Retail & Circular Economy, Alan Dillon TD, and Swedish State Secretary, Diana Janse, who spoke to a packed audience. The evening culminated in an inspiring keynote from Henrik Henriksson, CEO of Stegra, who shared his bold vision to deliver Europe’s first greenfield steel mill in over 50 years, producing truly sustainable green steel. Bringing together 50 Irish companies alongside senior Swedish and Irish government and trade representatives, the event was a fitting highlight of the mission.
