Confidence levels remain high in Irish construction industry

29th Nov 2016

The 2016 PwC’s Construction Industry Survey has reported than more than 2 out of every 3 Irish construction companies expect to increase their turnover > 10% in coming 12 months, representing a level of cautious optimism.

Despite this optimism, there are challenges, namely a major skills gap due to the emigration of skilled construction workers in recent years and the limited numbers entering construction related third level courses as well as limitations to finance.
